Dosage (summary)
Adults: 750 mg to 3 g daily in divided doses; Max: 6 g/day. Children: 20-50 mg/kg/day.

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Crosses placenta and is distributed in breast milk; use with caution.

- Hypersensitivity to penicillins
- History of cholestatic jaundice
