Pregnancy & Breastfeeding

- Insulin and insulin secretagogues may increase hypoglycaemia risk.
- Diuretics may increase dehydration risk.

- Moderate to severe renal impairment

- History of pancreatitis

- Hypoglycaemia
- Dizziness
- Urinary tract infections
- Genital infections

- Monitor for signs of ketoacidosis.
- Stay hydrated.
- Report any genital or perineal symptoms.
Serious warnings
- Risk of ketoacidosis
- Volume depletion
- Necrotising fasciitis of the perineum
