Dosage (summary)
Adults: 20 mg daily; OCD: 20-60 mg; Bulimia: 60 mg daily.
Special Populations
- Elderly
- Hepatic impairment
- Renal impairment
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Use in pregnancy only if benefits outweigh risks; excreted in breast milk.

- MAOIs
- Tamoxifen
- CYP2D6 inhibitors
- Lithium
- NSAIDs
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to fluoxetine
- Severe renal impairment
- Concomitant use with MAOIs
