Indication

Dosage (summary)
Starting dose: 8 mg/day for 4 weeks; Maintenance: 16 mg/day, may increase to 24 mg/day.
Onset of Action / Duration
Onset: 1.2 hours, Duration: 7-8 hours

- Moderate hepatic impairment
- Severe hepatic impairment
- Moderate renal impairment
- Severe renal impairment
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Not recommended during pregnancy; unknown if excreted in breast milk.

Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to galantamine
- Severe hepatic impairment
- Severe renal impairment
- Urinary outflow obstruction
