Key Drug Interactions
- Strong/moderate CYP3A inhibitors
- Strong/moderate CYP3A inducers
- Alcohol
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to lemborexant
- Narcolepsy
Common side effects
- Somnolence
- Headache
- Nightmares
Counselling Points
- Avoid alcohol while taking DAYVIGO.
- Caution against driving or operating machinery.
- Monitor for signs of complex sleep behaviours.
Serious warnings
- CNS depressant effects
- Risk of daytime impairment
- Worsening of depression/suicidal ideation
