Indication

Dosage (summary)
Adults: 1 tablet three times daily; Children (5-14 years): 0.5 tablet three times daily.
Special Populations
- Renal impairment
- Hepatic impairment
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Unsafe in pregnancy; not recommended during breastfeeding.

- Hypersensitivity
- Gastrointestinal obstruction
- Phaeochromocytoma
- Pregnancy
- History of tardive dyskinesia
- Epilepsy

- Drowsiness
- Dizziness
- Extrapyramidal disorders
- Diarrhea
- Constipation
Counselling Points
- Avoid driving until effects are known
- Report any extrapyramidal symptoms
- Maintain a 6-hour interval between doses
Serious warnings
- Risk of tardive dyskinesia
- Neuroleptic malignant syndrome
- Cardiovascular effects
