Indication
Severe pain requiring strong opioid analgesic.
Dosage (summary)
Starting dose: 10 mg/5 mg every 12 hours; max: 80 mg oxycodone/40 mg naloxone daily.
Special Populations
- Elderly patients
- Hepatic impairment
- Renal impairment
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to components
- Severe respiratory depression
- Severe COPD
- Severe asthma
- Moderate to severe hepatic impairment

- Constipation
- Nausea
- Somnolence
- Dizziness
- Headache
Counselling Points
- Take whole, do not chew or crush.
- Monitor for signs of respiratory depression.
- Avoid alcohol and CNS depressants.
