Indication
Treatment of systemic and local bacterial infections.
Dosage (summary)
Adults: CINOTAZ 4 (4/0.5 g) every 8 hours; Neutropenic patients: every 6 hours.
Special Populations
- Elderly
- Renal impairment
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Crosses placenta; not recommended during breastfeeding.

- Probenecid
- Vancomycin
- Oral anticoagulants
- Non-depolarising muscle relaxants
- Methotrexate
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to piperacillin or tazobactam
- History of allergic reactions to penicillins or cephalosporins

- Diarrhoea
- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Rash
- Fever

- Report severe diarrhoea
- Avoid mixing with aminoglycosides in IV solutions
