Indication

Treatment of tumour-induced hypercalcaemia and skeletal conditions in advanced malignancies.

Dosage (summary)

4 mg IV infusion every 3-4 weeks, diluted in 100 mL saline or glucose.

Onset: 2-3 months

  • Renal impairment
  • Hepatic impairment

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding

Contraindicated in pregnancy and breastfeeding; safety not established.
