Indication

Prevention and treatment of gastric ulcers, induction of labor, and medical termination of pregnancy.

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding

Contraindicated in pregnancy unless used for medical termination of pregnancy; caution advised during lactation as Misoprostol is excreted in breast milk.

Key Drug Interactions

• Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) may increase the risk of gastrointestinal side effects.
• Antacids may reduce the absorption of Misoprostol.

Contraindications
