Indication
Relief of mild to moderate pain and reduction of fever.
Dosage (summary)
For adults and children over 12 years: 500 mg to 1000 mg every 4 to 6 hours as needed, not exceeding 4000 mg per day. For children aged 6 to 12 years: 10 mg/kg to 15 mg/kg every 4 to 6 hours as needed, not exceeding 60 mg/kg per day.
Onset of Action / Duration
Onset of action typically occurs within 30 minutes, with peak effects at 1 to 2 hours.

- Hepatic impairment
- Renal impairment
- Elderly patients
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Paracetamol is generally considered safe for use during pregnancy and lactation when used at recommended doses.
