Indication
Management of bronchospasm in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and asthma.
Dosage (summary)
Inhale 1 to 2 puffs (0.5 mg Ipratropium Bromide and 2.5 mg Salbutamol) via nebulizer or metered-dose inhaler as needed, not exceeding 12 puffs per day.
Onset of Action / Duration
Onset of action within 15 minutes, peak effect in 1 to 2 hours, duration of action approximately 4 to 6 hours.
Special Populations
- Elderly patients
- Patients with renal impairment
- Patients with hepatic impairment

Use only if clearly needed; consult a healthcare provider for risks and benefits.
Key Drug Interactions
- Beta-blockers may reduce the effectiveness of Salbutamol.
- Anticholinergic drugs may enhance the effects of Ipratropium Bromide.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to Ipratropium Bromide, Salbutamol, or any component of the formulation.
- Patients with a history of severe allergic reactions to atropine or its derivatives.

- Monitor for paradoxical bronchospasm; discontinue if it occurs.
