One tablet daily after meals.

- Severe renal impairment
- Hepatic impairment

- Potent CYP3A4 inhibitors
- Antihypertensive medicines
- Nitrates
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to alfuzosin
- Orthostatic hypotension
- Combination with other alpha-1-blockers
- Hepatic impairment
- Severe renal impairment
- Children under 18
- Concomitant administration with potent CYP3A4 inhibitors
Common side effects
- Dizziness
- Headache
- Nausea
- Fatigue

- Take after meals
- Swallow whole
- Monitor for dizziness
- Report priapism immediately

- QT prolongation
- Priapism
- Hypotension
