Indication

Allergic and anaphylactic conditions.

Dosage (summary)

Adults: 4 mg every 4-6 hours, max 24 mg/day; Children 6-12 years: 2 mg every 4-6 hours, max 12 mg/day.

Onset: 30 mins, Duration: 4-6 hours

• Elderly
• Children under 6
• Patients with epilepsy

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding

Safety in pregnancy and lactation not established.

• CNS depressants
• MAO inhibitors

Contraindications

• Hypersensitivity to Chlorpheniramine
• Epilepsy
• Acute asthma attacks
• Premature infants
