Dosage (summary)

60 to 90 mg/mu00b2 body surface area, repeated every 21 days; up to 135 mg/mu00b2 for advanced breast cancer.

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding

Not established; avoid pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Key Drug Interactions

  • Cimetidine increases epirubicin concentration
  • Avoid mixing with heparin

  • Leucopenia
  • Nausea
