Indication
Relief of cough.
Dosage (summary)
Adults: 5-10 mL every 4 hours, max 4 doses/day. Not for longer than 3 days.
Special Populations
- Elderly
- Renal impairment
- Hepatic impairment
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Contraindicated in pregnancy and breastfeeding due to risk of neonatal withdrawal syndrome and toxicity.

- Under 18 years
- CYP2D6 ultra-rapid metabolisers
