Indication

Dosage (summary)

One tablet once daily for adults and adolescents; not for those under 40 kg.

Special Populations

  • Renal impairment
  • Hepatic impairment

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding

Not recommended during pregnancy; avoid breastfeeding due to potential HIV transmission.

Key Drug Interactions

  • Avoid with emtricitabine
  • Caution with trimethoprim/sulfamethoxazole

  • Hypersensitivity to abacavir or lamivudine
