Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Not recommended during pregnancy; avoid breastfeeding.

- Strong CYP3A4 inhibitors
- Potassium-sparing diuretics
- Trimethoprim
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to finerenone
- Severe hepatic impairment
- Concomitant use with strong CYP3A4 inhibitors
Common side effects
- Hyperkalaemia
- Hypotension
- Hyponatraemia
Counselling Points
- Take with or without food; avoid grapefruit.
- Monitor potassium levels regularly.
- Use effective contraception during treatment.
