Indication

Emergency treatment of acute gout attacks for a maximum of 5 days.

Dosage (summary)

Adults: Initial 100-150 mg daily in 2-3 divided doses, max 150 mg/day.

Special Populations

  • Elderly
  • Renal impairment
  • Hepatic impairment

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding

Contraindicated in third trimester; may impair fertility and not recommended during breastfeeding.

  • Hypersensitivity to diclofenac
  • Active gastric ulcer
