Indication

For inflammatory and degenerative rheumatism, painful musculoskeletal conditions, and post-operative pain.

Dosage (summary)

Adults: 1 ampoule daily; max 2 ampoules in severe cases.

Onset of Action / Duration

Onset: 30 mins, Duration: 6-8 hours

Special Populations

• Elderly
• Hepatic impairment
• Renal impairment

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding

Avoid in pregnancy after 20 weeks; not recommended during breastfeeding.

Key Drug Interactions

• Increased risk of bleeding with anticoagulants
• Increased lithium levels
• Reduced effect of antihypertensives

Contraindications

• Peptic ulcer
• Hypersensitivity to diclofenac
• Severe heart failure
• Active gastrointestinal bleeding
