Dosage (summary)
1 capsule (0.5 mg) daily; monitor for bradycardia on initiation.

- Hepatic impairment
- Elderly patients
- Diabetic patients
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Contraindicated in pregnancy; not recommended during breastfeeding.

Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to fingolimod
- Severe active infections
- Pregnancy and lactation
- Immunodeficiency syndrome

- Macular oedema
Counselling Points
- Monitor heart rate for 6 hours post-initiation.
- Report signs of infection immediately.
