Indication

Dosage (summary)
25 mg once daily with a meal; increase to 50 mg with rifabutin.
Special Populations
- Elderly
- Hepatic impairment
- Renal impairment
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Monitor viral load closely during pregnancy; not recommended for breastfeeding.

- CYP3A inducers (e.g., rifampicin)
- Proton pump inhibitors
- NNRTIs
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to rilpivirine
- Co-administration with certain anticonvulsants
