Indication
Symptomatic relief of rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, acute gouty arthritis, and moderate to severe acute post-operative pain.
Dosage (summary)
90 mg once daily for RA and AS; 120 mg once daily for acute gout; 90 mg or 120 mg for acute pain, max 8 days.
Special Populations
- Elderly
- Hepatic impairment
- Renal impairment
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Contraindicated in pregnancy and lactation.

- Digoxin
- Warfarin
- Diuretics
- ACE inhibitors
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to etoricoxib
- Active peptic ulceration
- Severe hepatic dysfunction
- Creatinine clearance < 30 mL/min

- Abdominal pain
- Fluid retention
- Hypersensitivity reactions
