Dosage (summary)
Adults: Initial 1 mg daily, may increase to 2 mg after 1 week; max 3 mg. Elderly: 0.5 - 1.5 mg daily.

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding; may cause neonatal withdrawal symptoms.

- Hypersensitivity to flupenthixol
- Severe depression requiring ECT
- CNS depression
- Coma

- Avoid alcohol
