Indication
Gastric reflux, reflux oesophagitis, heartburn, and indigestion.
Dosage (summary)
Adults: 10-20 ml after meals and at bedtime, up to 4 times daily. Children >12 years: on medical advice.
Special Populations
- Elderly: no modifications
- Hepatic impairment: no modifications
- Renal insufficiency: caution
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
No malformative effects in pregnancy; safe during breastfeeding.
Key Drug Interactions
- May affect absorption of other oral medicines
- Caution with thiazide diuretics and vitamin D
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to ingredients
- Moderate or severe renal insufficiency
