Indication
Relief of nasal congestion due to common cold, sinusitis, allergic rhinitis.
Dosage (summary)
Adults: 1-2 sprays into each nostril 2-3 times daily; Children >6 years: 1 spray 2-3 times daily.
Onset of Action / Duration
Onset: a few minutes, Duration: up to 12 hours
Special Populations
- Children under 6 years
- Patients with severe cardiovascular diseases
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Consult a medical practitioner before use during pregnancy and lactation.
Key Drug Interactions
- MAO inhibitors
- Tricyclic antidepressants
- Sympathomimetics
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to ingredients
- Rhinitis sicca
- Trans-sphenoidal hypophysectomy
Common side effects
- Headache
- Nasal discomfort
- Hypertension
- Rebound congestion
Counselling Points
- Do not use for longer than 5 days
- Consult if symptoms persist
- Use as directed

- Do not exceed recommended dose
