Indication
Anti-inflammatory and analgesic treatment in horses, cattle, and pigs.
Dosage (summary)
Horses: 2.2 mg/kg daily for 3-5 days. Cattle: 3 mg/kg daily for 1-3 days. Pigs: 3 mg/kg as a single injection.
Special Populations
- Not for foals <15 days old
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Not for pregnant mares; safe in pregnant/lactating cattle and sows.
Key Drug Interactions
- Do not mix with other NSAIDs
- Avoid diuretics and anticoagulants
Contraindications
- Gastro-duodenal ulcers
- Severe renal insufficiency
- Bleeding tendency
- Previous allergy to ketoprofen
