500 mg to 1,000 mg IV every 8 hours; adjust for renal impairment.

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Not recommended during pregnancy; detectable in breast milk.

Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to meropenem
- History of hypersensitivity to beta-lactam antibiotics

- Diarrhoea
- Rash
- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Injection site inflammation

- Monitor for allergic reactions
- Report severe diarrhea
- Avoid driving if experiencing CNS effects
Serious warnings
- Serious hypersensitivity reactions
- Antibiotic-associated colitis
- Seizures
