Indication

Dosage (summary)
800 mg (four 200 mg capsules) orally every 12 hours for 5 days.
Onset of Action / Duration
Onset: within 5 days of symptom onset, Duration: 5 days
Special Populations
- Elderly
- Renal impairment
- Hepatic impairment
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Not recommended during pregnancy; avoid breastfeeding during treatment and for 4 days after.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to molnupiravir or excipients
Common side effects
- Diarrhoea
- Nausea
- Dizziness
Counselling Points
- Take with or without food
- Do not double doses
- Use effective contraception during treatment
Serious warnings
- Potential fetal harm in pregnancy
