Indication
Treatment of canine acute and chronic otitis externa.
Dosage (summary)
5 drops for dogs u2264 14 kg, 10 drops for dogs > 14 kg, once daily for 7 days.
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Do not administer to pregnant or lactating bitches.
Key Drug Interactions
- Avoid concomitant use with ototoxic drugs.
- Compatibility with ear cleaners not demonstrated.
Contraindications
- Do not use if eardrum is perforated.
- Hypersensitivity to components.
Common side effects
- Mild erythematous lesions.
- Temporary hearing impairment in geriatric dogs.
Counselling Points
- Clean and dry ear canal before use.
- Massage base of ear after application.
- Wash hands after use.
Serious warnings
- For dogs only.
- Identify and treat underlying causes of otitis.
- Prolonged use may cause adrenal suppression.
