Indication

Dosage (summary)

Adults: 100 mg/day for invasive candidiasis; 150 mg/day for oesophageal candidiasis.

Special Populations

  • Hepatic impairment
  • Renal impairment
  • Paediatric population

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding

Contraindicated in pregnancy and breastfeeding.

  • CYP3A substrates
  • Amphotericin B

Contraindications

  • Hypersensitivity to micafungin
  • Pregnancy

  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Phlebitis
