- Clopidogrel
- Warfarin
- Atazanavir
- Nelfinavir
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to esomeprazole
- Concomitant use with atazanavir or nelfinavir
Common side effects
- Headache
- Abdominal pain
- Diarrhoea
- Nausea
Counselling Points
- Do not chew or crush tablets.
- Consult doctor if no relief in 2 weeks.
- Monitor for signs of kidney issues.
Serious warnings
- Risk of acute interstitial nephritis
- May mask gastric malignancy
