Dosage (summary)

Initial: 3-5 mg/h; max: 15 mg/h; maintenance: 2-4 mg/h.

  • Hepatic impairment
  • Renal impairment

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding

Use in pregnancy not established; contraindicated in breastfeeding.

Contraindications

  • Hypersensitivity
  • Mitral/aortic stenosis
  • Unstable angina
  • Recent myocardial infarction

  • Monitor blood pressure continuously
  • Infusion only via electronic pump
