Indication

Dosage (summary)
Children: 20 mg/kg/day in divided doses. Adults: 400 mg initially, then 200-400 mg every 4 hours, max 1200 mg/day.

Onset: 30 mins, Duration: 6-8 hours

- Renal impairment
- Hepatic impairment
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Contraindicated in third trimester; not recommended during breastfeeding.
