Indication

Treatment of HR-positive, HER2-negative advanced or metastatic breast cancer.

Dosage (summary)

125 mg orally once daily with food for 21 days, followed by 7 days off.

Special Populations

  • Elderly
  • Hepatic impairment
  • Renal impairment

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding

Can cause fetal harm; not recommended during breastfeeding.

  • Strong CYP3A inhibitors
  • Strong CYP3A inducers

Contraindications

  • Hypersensitivity to palbociclib
  • St. John's Wort

Common side effects

  • Neutropenia
  • Infections
  • Nausea
  • Fatigue
