Dosage (summary)

1.0 to 1.5 g every 8 hours for 6-7 days; adjust for specific conditions.

Special Populations

  • Severe renal impairment
  • Impaired liver function

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding

Not recommended in first trimester; caution in breastfeeding.
