Indication
Treatment of anxiety and pre-operative medication.
Dosage (summary)
Adults: 10-30 mg daily; elderly/debilitated: halve the dose.

- Renal impairment
- Hepatic impairment

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Not recommended in first trimester; avoid in breastfeeding.
Key Drug Interactions
- Alcohol increases effects
- CNS depressants may enhance sedation
- Opioids increase risk of respiratory depression
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to clobazam
- History of drug/alcohol dependence
- Myasthenia gravis
- Severe respiratory insufficiency
- Severe liver impairment
- First trimester of pregnancy
- Breastfeeding

- Dizziness
- Fatigue
- Muscle weakness
- Irritability

- Avoid alcohol during treatment
- Do not drive or operate machinery if affected

- Withdrawal symptoms on abrupt discontinuation
