Indication
Short-term treatment of seasonal allergic conjunctivitis symptoms.
Dosage (summary)
One drop in each affected eye twice daily.
Onset of Action / Duration
Onset: 2 hours, Duration: at least 8 hours
Special Populations
- Elderly
- Hepatic impairment
- Renal impairment
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Not established as safe in pregnancy or lactation.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to epinastine or excipients
Common side effects
- Burning sensation in eye
- Eye irritation
- Headache
Counselling Points
- Do not wear contact lenses during use
- Wait 15 mins after instillation before inserting lenses
- May cause transient blurring of vision
Serious warnings
- Topical use only
- Contains benzalkonium chloride
- Caution with prolonged use
