    Indication

    Treatment of erectile dysfunction.

    Dosage (summary)

    Adults: 50 mg once daily, may adjust to 25 mg or 100 mg.

    Onset of Action / Duration

    Onset: 30-60 mins, Duration: up to 4 hours

    Special Populations

    • Elderly
    • Renal impairment
    • Hepatic impairment

    Pregnancy & Breastfeeding

    Not indicated for women; no teratogenic effects in animals.

    Key Drug Interactions

    • Nitrates
    • CYP3A4 inhibitors
    • Alpha-blockers

    Contraindications

    • Hypersensitivity to sildenafil
    • Severe hepatic impairment
    • Severe renal impairment
    • Concomitant use with nitrates

    • Headache
    • Dizziness
    • Flushing
    • Nasal congestion
