Indication

5 mg once daily, with or without food.

Onset: 1.5 hours, Duration: >100 hours
Special Populations
- Renal impairment
- Hepatic impairment
- Elderly
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

- Ritonavir
- Rifampicin
- Sulphonylureas
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to linagliptin
- History of pancreatitis
Common side effects
- Hypoglycaemia
- Nasopharyngitis
- Cough

- Take at the same time each day
- Monitor blood glucose levels
- Report signs of pancreatitis
Serious warnings
- Risk of pancreatitis
- Bullous pemphigoid
- Rhabdomyolysis
