Indication
Treatment of HIV-1 infection in adults aged 18 years and older.
Dosage (summary)
One tablet orally once daily, without regard to food.
Special Populations
- Renal impairment
- Hepatic impairment
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Not recommended during pregnancy; potential risk of neural tube defects. Not for breastfeeding.
Key Drug Interactions
- Rifampicin decreases dolutegravir levels
- Avoid with nephrotoxic drugs
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to components
- Uncontrolled renal failure
- Pregnancy
- Moderate and severe hepatic impairment
Common side effects
- Nausea
- Diarrhoea
- Headache
- Fatigue
- Rash

- Monitor for signs of depression
- Use effective contraception
- Do not breastfeed while on TRILATED
Serious warnings
- Lactic acidosis
- Severe hepatomegaly
- Depression and suicidal ideation
