Indication
Reduction of ocular inflammation and prophylaxis of infection post-surgery.
Dosage (summary)
1 drop every 4 hours for 3 days pre-surgery; 2 drops every 2 hours post-surgery for 2 days; then 1 drop 4 times daily for 1 week, followed by 1 drop daily for 10 days.
Special Populations
- Paediatric patients
- Patients with glaucoma
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Safety in pregnancy not established; caution in breastfeeding.
Key Drug Interactions
- CYP3A4 inhibitors may increase effects
- Topical NSAIDs may increase healing problems
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to components
- Herpes simplex keratitis
- Fungal infections
- Untreated purulent infections

- Eye pain
- Increased intraocular pressure
- Eye irritation
- Eye pruritus

- Shake well before use
- Avoid contact with soft contact lenses
- Monitor for visual disturbances
Serious warnings
- Prolonged use may cause glaucoma
- Risk of cataract formation
- May mask signs of infection
