Indication
Adjunctive treatment of severe shock.
Dosage (summary)
1.66-5 mg/kg IV, may repeat every 2-6 hours for up to 72 hours.
Onset of Action / Duration
Onset: Rapid, Duration: Biological half-life ~190 mins.

- Renal impairment
- Diabetes mellitus
- Hypertension
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Caution in pregnancy; may cause fetal adrenal suppression.
