Indication
Treatment of candidal infections of the oral cavity.
Dosage (summary)
1-2 ml (100,000-200,000 units) four times daily; may increase to 4-6 ml for severe infections.

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Use during pregnancy only if benefits outweigh risks; caution in breastfeeding.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to nystatin or excipients
- Hereditary fructose intolerance
Common side effects
- Hypersensitivity
- Gastrointestinal disturbances
- Rash
Counselling Points
- Shake well before use
- Retain in mouth before swallowing
- Continue for 48 hours after symptoms resolve
Serious warnings
- Not for systemic mycoses
- Discontinue if irritation develops
