Indication

Treatment of Multidrug Resistant TB (MDR-TB).

Dosage (summary)

Adults: 8-12 g daily in 2-3 doses; <50 kg: 4-8 g daily.

Special Populations

  • Renal impairment
  • Hepatic impairment

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding

Contraindicated in pregnancy and breastfeeding.

  • Hypersensitivity
  • Moderate/severe renal impairment
  • Severe hepatic impairment

  • Hypothyroidism
  • Phenylketonuria

  • Abdominal pain
  • Anorexia
