Indication
Treatment of schizophrenia, mania in bipolar disorder, and conduct disorders in children.
Dosage (summary)
Adults: Start at 2 mg/day, increase to 4 mg/day on day 2; maintenance 4-8 mg/day. Elderly/Renal/Hepatic: Start at 0.5 mg twice daily.

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Use only if benefits outweigh risks; contraindicated in breastfeeding.
