Indication
Adjunct to general anaesthesia for tracheal intubation and muscle relaxation.
Dosage (summary)
0.6 mg/kg for intubation; maintenance 0.15 mg/kg.

Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to rocuronium
- Neonates
- Paediatric and elderly ICU use

- Injection site pain
- Hypersensitivity
- Prolonged neuromuscular block
Counselling Points
- Ventilatory support mandatory
- Monitor neuromuscular function
- Avoid driving for 24 hours post-recovery

- Anaphylaxis risk
- Residual curarisation
