Indication

Dosage (summary)

Initial 100 mg IV, then 50 mg every 12 hours for 5-14 days.

Special Populations

  • Renal impairment
  • Hepatic impairment
  • Elderly

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding

Contraindicated in pregnancy; unknown if excreted in breast milk.
