Indication

Dosage (summary)
Adults: 4-20 mg/day, typically 12-16 mg. Initiate with 4 mg three times daily.

- Hypersensitivity to cyproheptadine
- MAOI therapy
- Closed angle glaucoma

- Bladder neck obstruction
- Pyloroduodenal obstruction
- Elderly, debilitated patients
- Children under 2 years
- Breastfeeding mothers
