Dosage (summary)

Tablets: 1-4 mg 3-4 times daily; Ampoules: 10-20 mg IM/IV for severe cases.

Not established for safety in pregnancy and lactation.

  • Hypersensitivity to biperiden
  • Narrow angle glaucoma
  • Ileus
  • Megacolon
  • Cerebral impairment crisis

  • Urinary retention
